New pottery classes in MARINO COLLEGE JAN 2012

Brookwood Pottery is delighted to announce that a third venue has been added to their ceramic classes -  Marino College on Wednesday evenings, 6.30 - 8.30 pm in January 2012. Classes will start on Wed 25th January 2012 in Marino and cost 120 euro. Course will also take place in KLEAR Kilbarrack and The Donahies. Tel 087 770 6879 for more information.

We're coming up to our last class for the September course this week in Brookwood Pottery and the students have been producing amazing work. From tiles to vases, ceramic elephants to funky night light holders, the work has been fun and original. A big thank you to all students who participated in the September courses in KLEAR, Kilbarrack and the Donahies, Dublin 13. I really enjoyed meeting and working with you all. Special thanks to Matty in the Donahies for all his help with the firings and looking after our temperamental kiln!! Courses in KLEAR (110 euro, 10 weeks) start back on Monday 16th January and Tues 31st January in the Donahies (120 euro 10 weeks).

WELCOME TO BROOKWOOD POTTERY!

Brookwood Pottery is launching  a series of exciting new ceramic classes for adults on Dublin's northside, starting this September 2011. Tutor Elaine Fallon who trained in the Crafts Council of Ireland Pottery Course Thomastown, Co Kilkenny and the National College of Art and Design, Dublin will teach students how to create and design fun and colourful ceramic projects including objects for the garden, kitchen, bathroom and beyond! All aspects of hand building in ceramics will be covered including coiling, slab and pinch pots. No experience of working with clay is necessary as the emphasis will be on fun learning in a relaxed atmosphere.

Classes will take place on Monday Mornings from  9.15 - 11 am (10 week course)

 *Please note for all parents KLEAR provide a creche facility for students who take courses there-  3 euro per child per class .*
